Yes, this viewpoint is interesting. One of my friends was surprised that I hadn't sacked my cleaner now that I was working from home! I reminded her that I was working full-time even though it was from home.

Congrats on achieving this Kathie, its great to see someone achieving success with a book..I'd love to know a bit about the path to getting published, i.e. going to various publishers etc..Maybe a blog post in that itself?

Hi Kathie,
There are pros and cons to the ebook, certainly. It would make your book more marketable globally, plus it is easy to arrange with a print-ready PDF file.
But a print book can be taken places an ebook can't, like to beaches or on planes. There also are a lot of decisions to be made regarding copy protection, and online delivery options.
Some give the ebook away in the belief the ebook will help sell the print book, but I am not comfortable with that myself.
I have put my book for sale in Amazon.com's Kindle format. This may be an option for you if you can get a decent conversion to Kindle format from your text file. It would put your book on the market in the U.S. and it is free to submit. They give you 35% of sales. Here is the link: http://dtp.amazon.com/mn/signin
Blessings,
Cheryl Rogers

Hi Kathie,

I am about two hours away from Daytona in Tampa, Florida. I do not know of any opportunities at this point, but will let you know if something comes up.
Imagine you need someone or an organization with deep pockets as travel expenses will likely be considerable.

Best wishes,
Cheryl Rogers

Hi Debbie, the book can be purchased direct in the US - there are links in the sidebar and on the order page for purchasing through Lulu.com. But I will take your suggestion and add the USD value on the order page. I'll email you direct with the details. Thanks for dropping by.

Hi Kathie,
Your books looks and sounds so interesting but unable to find the price.
I live in the U.S.A., Would you please give me the total cost +--shipping for your book WORTH MORE THEN RUBIES.
We are in the process of starting up a jewelry business, as we cut stones.
This books would fit our needs at this time.
Thank-you & God bless you,
Debbie S.

I come across this mindset often. I know so many Mums who struggle with this and are constantly asked to help out at school or wherever "because you're home".

I also prefer reading books as a physical book. Any e-book I get is printed out and, if it's good, I bind it to add to my library. Your book is currently in my handbag for me to read as I have a few minutes in between running kids around.
