64 Businesses you can run from home

I frequently see women in Facebook groups saying they want to run a business but they have no idea what to do. In 2007 I published a book called ‘Worth More Than Rubies’ The Value of a Work at Home Mum. In the last chapter I list a number of types of businesses that can be run at home. Hopefully this list will help those of you who need some ideas.  And if you think of others, feel free to add them in a comment below.

Addition:  With the prevalence of the coronavirus early 2020 this list is probably even more relevant, particularly those businesses that don’t have face-to-face contact with clients on a regular basis.

Additional to the above, I have a daughter who works full time at home as a seamstress and alterations/repair person. And another daughter who writes and sells horse courses as well as books. A third daughter is involved with a health program that she can run from home. There are so many opportunities out there once you really start looking.
