“Answer to prayer” That’s what I was told this morning at church. The senior pastors in my church had told the congregation about my new book and the connection to Proverbs 31 Woman. They asked me to say a few words and told everyone there that copies of the book would be available after the service.
I was thrilled with the response and happily signed copies of the book for those who asked. And then one shy young man came forward after the crowed had died down, and asked for a copy of the book too. As I was signing it for him he told me that this was an ‘answer to prayer’ for him and his wife. They’d been looking for ways for her to stay home and be with the children as they felt that’s what was needed. I agreed with him and told him that is my strong belief and feeling and then showed him the list of 64 types of businesses listed at the back of the book for those who are seeking to do just that after reading the book.
He went away thrilled and left me feeling humbled and thankful. Because you see, his response was my ‘answer to prayer’ – knowing that this book is going to fulfill the needs of many others.
answer to prayer, work at home, Proverbs 31 woman, worth more than rubies
